Infographic page
Infographic pages work like: http://hea.ie/statistics/infographics/
- They must be given a main title.
- You use the ‘Add Box’ function to add the segments.
- You give each box a title.
- They are designed to have a figure inserted in a circle. This is in the ‘Circle Callout’.
- You then decide if you are putting: Icon and text / Pie Chart / Chart (Line/Column) in the area under the circle. This is in the ‘Icon+Text’ tab.
- You can enter text underneath this by clicking on the ‘Text’ tab.
- You can have as many or as few boxes as you like. However it is designed to work best in multiples of 6. The site is responsive, so it goes, a row of 3, then 2, then 1. This multiple of 6 allow balance.
Curated Publications
- Select the correct type of page.
- Click ‘Add Publication’
- You can add as many as you like.
- You then link to the correct category so that the user can see all publications in this area.
For example, on this page:
http://hea.ie/statistics/publications/
There are 4 curated stats publications (at present) and then the user can see all those categorised with ‘Statistics’ by clinking the link.
Nested Dropdowns
- Select the ‘Nested Dropdowns’ in page format.
- In the ‘Nested Dropdowns’ part of the click ‘Add Section’.
- Give that section a ‘Heading’
- Use the ‘Add Content’ button to add the type of content you want. This works the same as a standard page.

- You can add subsections within this as well. They work the same way as the upper level.
Strategic Dialogue
- Select the ‘Strategic Dialogue’ in page format.
- The top half of the page works like a standard page.
- To add a ‘Cycle’ you must first add a ‘New Group’
- You then give the group a name, for Cycles its usually IOT, Uni or Cluster.
- You then add an institution.
- You then upload documents under the umbrella of that Institution.
- You can give each file a Name and a sub name. Usually the sub name is the type of doc, ie PDF and the size.
Access our statistics
- This resides in the ‘Statistics Archive’ area.
- Firstly a new entry must be made at ‘Add New’. Something like ‘2011/12 : Graduates’
- Then they must be given a ‘year’.
- Then they must be given a Student Type, one of “Graduates’, ‘Enrolments’, or ‘New Entrant’.
- If it is a Graduate or New Entrant, you just upload the docs. If they are not named they will take the name of the file.
- If you choose ‘Enrolments’ the five sub sections within will appear.
HEI pages

- These live in the Higher Education Institutions area.
- To add a new Institution you ‘Add New’.
- You add a title – which will be an institution’s name.
- Choose ‘Main Page’
- Pick Institution Type.
- Fill in Address, Phone and Web address fields.
- The image that goes up must be 2000 x 1000 px.
- Use the Google Map facility to give the Geo location.
- The various documents and pie charts are under the headings of:
Statistics / Funding / Governance / Performance - Use the arrow to the right to open an area if it is closed.
- The sub headings underneath each of these areas are one of ‘Academic Year’, ‘Calendar Year’ or ‘Cycle’.

- When you click open a type, you may need to use the small triangle at the left of the year to view the contents within that year.
